Introduction

What are you going to do

  • Ensure Supervisors and Inspectors assigned to your discipline are familiar with Construction and Completions processes and that roles and responsibilities are understood;
  • Monitor yard productivity and manpower assignment to ensure Construction schedule milestones are met;
  • Ensure yard Construction procedures related to your discipline are reviewed and approved;
  • Ensure the Inspections and Test Plan (ITP) is followed and attended by his/her team;
  • Ensure all Quality Verification Documentation is duly reviewed and approved;
  • Ensure that Manufacturing Data Records (MDR) are maintained, approved and compiled on a systematic basis;
  • Maintain up-to-date as-built dossier;
  • Ensure Discipline Inspection Test Reports (ITR-A’s and associated Punchlist) are compiled and issued by the yard and approved and logged into the Completion database;
  • Interface with Supply Chain to ensure the Required On Site (ROS) for materials are respected;
  • Assist Material Controller in performing Receiving Inspections of materials and equipment related to your discipline.

Essential skills and knowledge 

School/studies/degree:

  • Engineering discipline degree or diploma from University or Engineering College.

Experience:

  • 15 years experience, preferably some gained under project conditions;
  • Extensive experience in leading onshore/offshore commissioning activities on complex FPSO/topsides process systems;
  • Strong experience in start-up activities, in particular gas treatment and compression/injection systems, seawater treatment and injection, process systems such as cooling medium, heating medium, glycol system;
  • Good knowledge of engineering and systems technology in a project environment;
  • Knowledge of Process Control Narrative (PCS);
  • Experience in commissioning Permit-to-work (PTW) preparation & Notice of Energization (NOE);
  • Ability to write technical documents and operational test procedures (OTPs);
  • Knowledgeable in sub-system boundary limits & marked-up engineering drawings;
  • Experience in attending Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) for large rotating equipment and ICSS hardware.
