Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
- Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene, chemical/environmental engineering, chemistry, or environmental health sciences (with industrial hygiene or toxicology courses).
- Preferred professional designation as an Industrial Hygienist (CIH, ROH, COH) and other additional professional safety certifications are highly desirable (e.g., CSP, CRSP, CMIOSH).
- 8 years' experience in industrial hygiene/occupational health and safety including at least 5 years in the oil and gas industry, or petrochemicals/manufacturing setting.
- Excellent command in English language.
- Computer literate (proficient with MS Office, basic use of environmental computer software).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and lead a team sometimes under significant time constraints, and ability to communicate with several organizational levels.
- Requires strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
