What are you going to do

  • Extensive knowledge in the HVAC design calculations, drawings associated with sizing and specifying of Engineered HVAC & Refrigeration systems, specifications, and tender documents for designing of HVAC projects;
  • Ability to Perform technical studies of complete HVAC systems;
  • Ability to Perform basic engineering for projects as assigned for HVAC and Plumbing;
  • Independently determines project scope, and identifies project specifications such as cost, time, requirements, available supplemental data, and project construction;
  • Up-to-date relevant knowledge of the HVAC engineering and industry best practices, appropriate to the relevant disciplines, Codes and Standards;
  • Ensures that all systems, design information, procedures and quality systems are effectively communicated to bidders;
  • Develops bid documents related to HVAC System including projects’ specifications and detailed HVAC engineering drawings;
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of building HVAC systems, building envelope design and HVAC/R equipment technology;
  • Be fully aware of the Project HSE requirements;
  • Supports, assists and ensure the liaison with the other Project Team members as applicable in HVAC discipline;
  • Ensure that all activities and works in the area of responsibility are done in full compliance with the HSE requirements of and the relevant Authorities;
  • Ensure implementation of the Contract requirements in area of responsibility and report any deviation to Head of Projects;
  • Follow up EPCC Contractor and Subcontractors throughout the project in order to assure the quality and safety aspects of the work;
  • Follow up EPCC Contractor/Subcontractors with regard to interpretation and proper implementation of the technical content of the EPCC Contract documents;
  • Follow up the HVAC installation works on Site to ensure correct installation according to the approved Work Method Statements and Issued for Construction drawings;
  • Follow up and report on the progress including detection of deviation from the schedule;
  • Verify status of HVAC Completion activities and EPCC Contractor’s achievement of milestones;
  • Follow up preservation of Site;
  • Ensure all tie-ins within discipline scope required from the company are completed and ready for Hook-up/installation in accordance with schedule/quality.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University;
  • 7+ years direct and relevant discipline experience in large EPCC Projects related to oil/gas or petrochemical or fertilizer industry;
  • Knowledge of project management and execution function is a must.
