Introduction
- The Head of Project Engineering is responsible for overseeing the engineering design and execution carried out by the EPC/FEED Contractor and its Sub- contractors, ensuring the quality of the design meets project milestones and budget.

- The Head of Project Engineering is responsible for overseeing the engineering design and execution carried out by the EPC/FEED Contractor and its Sub- contractors, ensuring the quality of the design meets project milestones and budget.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Bachelors' Degree in Science or Engineering
- 10 years experience in Oil & Gas industry with a strong background in detailed engineering management of Major Oil & Gas Projects, preferably experience on a major LNG project including 1 year experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of contractor/sub-contractors/service/vendor personnel.
- Experience with engineering leadership, leading multi-discipline activities and well versed in design safety aspects of engineering
- Experience with risk assessment approach to decision making
- Experience with LNG facilities
- Experience with large process units design
- Experience working with major EPC/FEED Contractors in a Lump Sum environment
- Demonstrates sound written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead and communicate at all organizational levels
- Demonstrate ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds
- Field engineering experience is desirable
- Technical background as a discipline engineer and experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer.
- Good teamwork and facilitation
- Good analytical, organisational and problem solving skills
- Risk management
