Introduction

Oversee contractor activities during the North Field Production & Sustainability Project, which includes all aspects of Onshore and offshore Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) and Instrumentation for Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities at project sites (onshore and offshore) located in Qatar.
Ensure the facility and all its components are built and installed according to the design and function as agreed in project specifications.

What are you going to do

Ensure ICSS, Instrument and Control (I&C) activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and project specifications.
Lead work execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system.
Monitor the Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) purchase order with the EPC Contractor and System Vendor in accordance with the roles and responsibilities given in the contract to ensure safe and seamless integration of the systems without any disturbance to the existing operating facilities.
Review Contractor planning and scheduling activities for Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning to ensure coordination with other aspects of work.
Monitor Contractor performance and provide advice as necessary to ensure design goals, philosophies and specifications are achieved.
Review all documentation relates to Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning.
Participate at site to ensure safe execution of Systems Completion activities and provide guidance on Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Turnover of equipment and systems as required.
Develop and manage effective work packs, tools, commissioning plans to ensure a smooth and safe hand-over to permanent organization.
Lead and manage clear communication and reporting lines for all matters pertaining to commissioning for Offshore Project and ensure compliance with Project Management requirements.

Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent.
10 years’ systems completion/commissioning experience in the oil and gas industry with exposure to a major projects environment in the oil and gas industry.
Strong experience working in ICSS, Instrument & Controls preferably in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
Previous knowledge of Brownfield engineering and execution required.
