Introduction

Lead delivery of a 220kV transmission line project, taking ownership of site construction, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and driving safe, compliant execution while maintaining quality standards, managing ITRs and ensuring works are delivered on schedule with full documentation and close-out accountability

What are you going to do

  • Lead all site construction across 220kV transmission works including foundations, erection, stringing and earthing
  • Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors while managing daily work fronts, productivity and schedule
  • Drive safe execution, pre-starts and toolbox talks, ensuring compliance with permits, SWMS and zero-harm standards
  • Monitor and report on progress, schedule performance and construction quality with regular updates and forecasting
  • Interface with client representatives and project stakeholders to align on delivery and resolve site issues
  • Conduct field inspections and verification of completed works prior to handover
  • Manage ITRs, ITPs, hold/witness points and quality documentation through to close-out
  • Maintain as-builts, redlines and turnover packs, ensuring accurate project records
  • Oversee NCRs, defects and punch list close-out, driving timely completion of works
  • Mentor and lead supervisors, leading hands and site teams to deliver consistent performance

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven experience supervising HV transmission line construction projects
  • Background delivering major infrastructure or resources site-based works
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, productivity and work front planning
  • Experience managing crews, subcontractors and plant on active sites
  • Solid knowledge of HSE systems, permits, SWMS and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated experience with ITRs, ITPs and quality documentation close-out
  • Ability to track and report on progress, schedule and site performance
  • Trade or engineering qualification (or strong equivalent site experience)
  • Current White Card and Australian driver's licence
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interface with clients and stakeholders
  • Must have full Australian working rights
