What are you going to do

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall construction execution for major energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects across South Korea.
  • Manage relationships and negotiations with EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and construction partners.
  • Oversee project execution strategy, construction planning, scheduling, and site coordination activities.
  • Ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, construction milestones, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
  • Drive contractor performance management, including productivity, quality, HSE compliance, and commercial obligations.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve site-related technical and operational issues.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, clients, regulatory bodies, and external partners to support project delivery requirements.
  • Support contract administration, claims management, variation negotiations, and commercial discussions with EPC contractors.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, company standards, and industry best practices.
  • Lead site management teams and promote a strong safety and performance-driven culture across all phases of execution.
  • Provide regular reporting to senior management on project performance, execution status, and critical project issues.
  • Support commissioning, start-up, handover, and project close-out activities.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Extensive experience managing large-scale energy, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects.
  • Strong background working with EPC contractors and complex multi-disciplinary project environments.
  • Proven experience overseeing projects from early execution through commissioning and completion.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in contractor negotiation, contract management, and project controls.
  • Fluent English required; Korean language capability would be advantageous.
