Lead supplier quality initiatives to ensure that all purchased materials, components, and services meet project standards, regulatory requirements, and performance goals. Drive continuous improvement in the supply base through rigorous quality systems, supplier development, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate tasks assigned to Vendor Coordinators and TPC Coordinators.
- Review prequalification documents (e.g., MAR, PDR, PQD) for all procurement packages.
- Standardise quality requirements in MR/TBE templates and conduct dual reviews for critical procurement packages.
- Lead TPC weekly meetings and attend procurement quality meetings, including external procurement-related meetings.
- Develop and implement procurement inspection coordination procedures.
- Review supplier pre-qualification documents and participate in quality audits of vendors/manufacturers.
- Participate in kick-off and pre-inspection meetings.
- Liaise with Third Party Certification and Client Rep to ensure appropriate involvement.
- Review vendor documents, including MPS, ITP, WPS, and relevant quality procedures.
- Review flash reports, in-process reports, and close-out reports from third-party inspectors.
- BSc. degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with experience in similar EPIC Oil & Gas project procurement.
- Minimum of 12 years’ QA/QC relevant experience (oil & gas, petrochemical, infrastructure, or communication projects).
- At least 2 years’ management experience in establishing, operating, and maintaining a quality management system in accordance with international standards.
- Preferably a Registered Lead Auditor (IRCA, RABQSA, or equivalent).
- Specific qualifications proving expertise in the project’s predominant discipline (e.g., piping, pipelines, mechanical works).
- Welding Inspection Qualification (CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, or IWE) or equivalent, and at least ASNT–TC-1A Level II or PCN Level.
- At least 5 years’ experience directly relating to inspection of construction activities in relevant sectors.
