Introduction

On behalf of our client, a World Leading Energy Company, Brunel is presently recruiting a Subsea Facilities Planner to join the Capital Projects Cost Engineering and Project Services Team. You will work closely with Project Management and Delivery Teams across a dynamic portfolio of offshore facilities scopes.

About this role

  • Develop and maintain detailed work plans and execution schedules for FEED and Phase 4 Execution aligned to Capital Project phases and handover requirements
  • Logical planning and scheduling of work scope activities
  • Develop and maintain Basis of Schedule documentation
  • Conduct schedule analysis, trending, change management, and contingency management
  • Lead probabilistic schedule risk analysis (Monte Carlo simulations, sensitivities, scenario planning)
  • Perform schedule risk management including risk and opportunity-based scenario analysis
  • Lead schedule benchmarking and establish competitive performance targets
  • Progress and performance measurement reporting
  • Collaborate with Cost teams to implement WBS and OBS for predictable forecasting
  • Review and challenge contractor schedules, risks, and trends prior to integration
  • Support business planning updates, monthly reporting, and funding requests
  • Contribute to closeout reporting and lessons learned incorporation

Is this you?

  • An experienced Planner with expertise in Subsea Systems and offshore project environments
  • Proven experience in complex capital project planning and scheduling
  • Strong schedule risk management capability including Monte Carlo analysis
  • Experience working across multiple scopes at varying project maturity levels
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to articulate schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies
  • Strong analytical capability with a proactive, independent work style
  • A growth mindset and willingness to challenge traditional ways of working
  • Innovative thinking and a drive for continuous improvement
