Introduction

Perth-based EIC Engineer responsible for delivering electrical, instrumentation and control design across hydrogen and green energy process plants. The role combines detailed engineering, commissioning support and system integration with ongoing plant ownership. You will drive safety, reliability and performance in a 24/7 environment while supporting upgrades, trials and expansion initiatives.

About this role

  • Deliver detailed electrical, instrumentation and control (EIC) design across hydrogen and green energy process plant facilities.

  • Support power distribution, motor control, protection systems and control integration in hazardous environments.

  • Contribute to PLC/DCS/SCADA design, I/O allocation and network architecture.

  • Participate in HAZOP, LOPA and SIL activities in line with IEC 61511.

  • Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and plant start-up activities.

  • Drive plant reliability, safety and performance in a 24/7 operational environment.

  • Lead technical documentation including SLDs, control narratives, logic diagrams and data sheets.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, OEMs and integrators to deliver integrated plant solutions.

Is this you?

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, instrumentation and control integration.

  • Experience with PLC/DCS/SCADA platforms (ABB, Allen Bradley, Siemens or Schneider desirable).

  • Exposure to functional safety and SIL systems (TÜV certification advantageous).

  • Knowledge of Australian electrical and hazardous area standards.

  • Experience supporting commissioning, isolation procedures and plant start-up.
