Introduction

We are currently seeking two Project Subsea Engineers to join a major deepwater subsea project commencing shortly. These roles are critical to supporting the execution of subsea installation scopes and will play a key role in offshore campaigns under the Offshore Installation Contract (OIC) framework.

Reporting to the Package lead, the successful Project Subsea Engineers will support the management of the Deepwater Offshore Installation Contractor scope

About this role

  • Support the OIC Lead with the management of the OIC Contract scope. Including assistance in procurement, tender review, sub-contract assessment, review of contractor claims, Lump Sum scope assessment and reimbursable portions of the works.
  • Support OIC technical interfaces.
  • Support the OIC team with the management of Risks and interfaces (internal & Contractors).
  • Support development of mitigation plans to close out OIC execution risks
  • Coordinate the technical input into the contract management of change system
  • Provide engineering support to the Senior FCS (Field Control Station) Subsea Engineer, Senior Structures Subsea Engineer, Senior Project Engineer (Pre-Commissioning) and Project Subsea Engineer (Umbilical's)
  • Support and coordinate where necessary third-party engineering contracts to aid in the support of design verification for the OIC scope.
  • Support OIC MWS focal point with Marine Warranty input, document reviews and approvals for the OIC scope.
  • Provide site support as required (overseas and Australia) as required.

Is this you?

  • Experience with contract management of change system, interface and risk management systems is required.
  • Experience working with a mixed structured contract (Lumpsum/Reimbursable/Time rates make up) is preferred.
  • Demonstrate good interface management skills & a drive to learn, understand and share
  • Civil/marine/Structural / Mechanical Engineering degree qualification preferred.
  • Experience in deepwater offshore installation or construction.
  • Demonstrates aptitude to organize, prioritize and deliver against Project Requirements
