About this role

Support the delivery team on significant and complex projects within Brisbane. Ensure work is completed safely, on time, to high-quality standards, meets expectations, and achieves the desired financial outcomes.

  • Assist with budget creation, resource allocation, and spending oversight; analyse variances and forecast potential cost overruns.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and flag potential delays.
  • Prepare accurate internal and external project reports, maintain data integrity, and liaise with stakeholders to keep them informed on progress, risks, and issues.
  • Identify risks, recommend corrective actions, and oversee vendors to ensure contractual obligations and timely delivery.
  • Prepare accurate tendering and delivery programs/schedules that support dependable delivery.
  • Advise project teams on cost, schedule, and change management; review delivery methods and sequencing to optimise efficiency; support and manage subcontractors; utilise modelling tools for reporting and communication.

Is this you?

  • Experienced in supporting complex construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Skilled in project scheduling, cost management, forecasting, and risk mitigation to maintain smooth project execution.
  • Strong communicator, able to liaise effectively with stakeholders, teams, and vendors to provide clear updates and resolve issues.
  • Proficient in project management tools, financial analysis, and data-driven decision-making to optimise project outcomes.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and solutions-focused with a background in construction project controls and delivery support
  • Strong project management, financial analysis, and software skills (Excel and project management tools).
  • Analytical, organised, and communicative, typically with a degree in finance, accounting, or project management.
