Introduction

We are seeking an accomplished Head of Commercial Partnerships to lead strategic customer relationships and commercial negotiations across a major East Coast energy infrastructure portfolio.
In this senior leadership role, you will oversee a team managing high-value customer partnerships, structuring agreements that optimise growth, manage risk, and align with market and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with senior executives, legal, finance, and operations to deliver strong commercial outcomes.

About this role

  • Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities, from evaluation to deal negotiation.
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies that deliver sustainable growth and value.
  • Lead the design, structuring, and negotiation of high-value commercial contracts.
  • Partner with internal teams to support joint ventures, asset builds, and acquisitions.
  • Maintain and grow strong customer relationships, acting as senior point of contact.
  • Engage with industry stakeholders to advance commercial and policy objectives.

Is this you?

  • Proven success in leading and negotiating complex commercial partnerships in energy, infrastructure, or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of commercial models, regulatory frameworks, and risk management.
  • Exceptional relationship management and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in commercial modelling and business case development.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with high-performing teams.
