About this role

  • Follow all Rio Tinto standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Promote a strong safety culture by encouraging safety awareness, compliance, and prioritising safe practices in all operations.

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing opportunities for enhancement using Rio Tinto best practices.

  • Work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders to achieve operational goals.

  • Perform both preventative and corrective maintenance on all equipment.

  • Carry out regular inspections of fixed plant assets and determine necessary repairs.

  • Support continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, reduce risk, and lower costs.

  • Use SAP to accurately record, assign, and complete maintenance tasks to required standards.

  • Safely isolate equipment for maintenance and operational activities.

  • Organise equipment, materials, and resources to meet planned objectives.

  • Report any issues with fixed plant assets, team practices, or procedures.

  • Maintain high-quality maintenance standards while improving equipment reliability and availability.

Is this you?

* Fixed Plant operational experience, diagnostic fault-finding abilities

* Basic understanding of SAP maintenance systems or similar

* Ability to work cooperatively in a small team, flexibility to business needs Hydraulic, pneumatic experience, basic welding, oxy cutting preferred Qualifications:

* A Current Western Australian 'C' Class Driver's Licence (Manual)

* HR Driver's License (preferable) * Mechanical Engineering/Fitting trade qualification

* Confined Space, Working at Heights, First Aid Certificates

* High Risk Work Licences - LF, WP, DG / RB and OHTC preferred
