Our client is a family-owned agricultural business with diversified farming operations across Australia. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Farm Hand to join our team on one of their broadacre cropping farms.
This is a hands-on role supporting day-to-day broadacre farming operations. You will work as part of a small, experienced team, assisting with planting, harvesting, machinery operation, irrigation, and general farm maintenance. The role is well suited to someone who enjoys practical outdoor work and takes pride in contributing to a productive and safe farming operation.
Assist with broadacre cropping activities including seeding, spraying, and harvesting
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Perform general farm maintenance, repairs, and property upkeep
Assist with grain handling and storage
Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Work collaboratively with farm managers and other team members
Previous experience in broadacre farming or agricultural work is preferred
Mechanical aptitude and machinery experience highly regarded
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work long hours during peak seasonal periods
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Current driver's licence required; truck or machinery tickets an advantage
