Introduction

Brunel is partnering with a respected Tier 2 commercial builder to appoint a Site Manager for the delivery of a $17 million education facility in West Brisbane. This is a ground-up build requiring someone with demonstrated experience managing complex projects in the education sector.

About this role

You will be responsible for day-to-day site operations, managing subcontractors, maintaining program delivery, and upholding high standards of safety and quality. This project is supported by a well-structured delivery team and a builder known for delivering institutional and commercial projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate on-site construction activities
Manage subcontractors to ensure program alignment and quality outcomes
Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and QA standards
Monitor progress and address potential risks or delays
Liaise with internal teams, consultants and suppliers to maintain clear communication and resolve issues promptly

Is this you?

Minimum 4 years' experience as a Site Manager on commercial or education builds
Demonstrated ability to manage projects valued at $10 million or more
Strong working knowledge of relevant construction legislation and safety systems
Current QBCC Site Supervisor or Builder Licence
Experience in education, institutional or D&C environments is preferred
