Introduction

Responsible for the safe and efficient execution of brownfield mechanical project scopes across a major offshore gas production facility. The role acts as the company's on-site representative, ensuring all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures.

This role is based in Perth and will involve ad-hoc travel to site as required. A mid-December commencement is anticipated.

About this role

  • Lead the execution of mechanical, piping, and structural scopes on a live offshore facility.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Act as the company representative offshore, coordinating with contractors and operations teams during execution.
  • Support pre-execution readiness reviews with Project Engineers, Planners, and Coordinators.
  • Validate resources, materials, and logistics are in place ahead of mobilisation.
  • Oversee risk assessments, work permits, isolations, and mechanical readiness activities.
  • Collaborate with Operations to minimise production impacts and maintain safe work boundaries.
  • Provide daily reporting on project progress, safety performance, and completion status.
  • Ensure workpacks and handover documentation are finalised and closed out to company standards.

Is this you?

  • Trade Background preferred along with extensive offshore experience.
  • Proven background in brownfield project execution on oil & gas production assets.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, piping fabrication, pressure equipment, and lifting operations.
  • Skilled in contractor supervision, interface coordination, and permit-to-work systems.
  • Excellent safety leadership and communication skills.
