Introduction

On behalf of our client, a Global Leading Provider to the Oil & Gas industry, Brunel is recruiting a HSE Specialist based in the Brisbane CBD. This is a 12-month contract opportunity open to local residential candidates. The role offers a competitiive daily pay rate.

About this role

  • In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of HSE practices across a business with a focus on modern risk management and the principles of Safety 2.0.
  • Collaborate with both frontline and management teams to promote HSE practices across the business.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to supervisors and managers to build a strong HSE culture and ensure accountability for safety
  • Work with local and regional HSE Teams, as well as SMEs on specific risks related to Oil & Gas supply bases and field operations
  • Support emergency response arrangements including the development, implementation and maintenance of procedures and training
  • Develop and deliver HSE awareness programs and initiatives as required
  • Focus on health aspects of HSE including promoting mental health awareness at the site

Is this you?

  • NEBOSH OR a Certificate IV in OHS Certificate OR equivalent or Bachelor's degree from an accredited University College
  • Previous work experience in a HSE related background
  • Experienced in Contemporary Work-Life Balance Policies and Wellbeing activities
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills
