Introduction

We are seeking an experienced and autonomous Senior Employee Relations Advisor to support our client's leadership team through complex employee relations matters. This is a 6-week Perth-based contract ideal for a highly skilled HR professional with deep expertise in workplace investigations and Fair Work legislation

About this role

  • Provide expert coaching and support to leaders on a wide range of employee relations issues.
  • Independently manage workplace investigations and disciplinary processes, including those involving safety breaches, policy non-compliance, bullying, and harassment.
  • Deliver timely, legally compliant advice aligned with the Fair Work Act and company policies.
  • Draft and review documentation including written warnings, investigation reports, and case summaries.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure fair and consistent outcomes in all ER cases.
  • Maintain accurate case records and provide reporting as required.

Is this you?

  • Proven track record in managing complex ER cases autonomously, including investigations and disciplinary processes.
  • In-depth understanding of the Fair Work Act and best-practice ER/IR principles.
  • Confident in coaching and influencing operational leaders through challenging people issues.
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly in documenting investigations and formal disciplinary outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance or oversight.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law, or a related field are desirable.
  • This is a Perth based role on a 6 week assignment
  • The successful candidate will be in post by 6th August
  • You must have current right to work in Australia to be considered for this role
