About this role

Brunel is seeking skilled Final Trim Operators and Scraper Operators for an immediate start on a major mining project in Weipa, QLD. FIFO from Brisbane or Cairns on a 2/1 roster (2 weeks on, 1 week off).

Final Trim Operators: Precision work with graders/excavators/Dozers to achieve perfect surface tolerances
Scraper Operators: Bulk earthmoving with twin, Single and elevator scrapers
Day shift only
Long-term contract running until December 2025 (likely extensions)

Is this you?

For Final Trim Operators:

RII ticket for Grader, Dozer and/or Excavator
Proven experience in final trim/finish grading
Ability to work to tight tolerances
GPS machine control experience

For Scraper Operators:

RIIMPO338E - Conduct Scraper Operations
Minimum 3+ years scraper experience in mining/civil
GPS machine control experience (advantageous)

All Candidates Must Have:

Current Drivers license
Ability to pass pre-employment medical
Willingness to work rotating shifts
