Introduction

In this role, you won't just work on advanced naval systems-you'll help shape the future of maritime defense. As a Systems Verification Engineer, you'll be key in ensuring complex systems meet the highest standards within a high-profile international defense project.

What are you going to do

As a Systems Verification Engineer in the Verification, Validation & Acceptance (VV&A) team, you will:

  • Define system requirements and translate overarching design rules into specific, testable engineering objectives.

  • Develop and maintain the Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM), ensuring complete traceability from proposal to final system acceptance.

  • Create and manage Verification Cases (VeCs) and Test Cases (TeCs), guiding the execution of physical and functional testing.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance, providing documented proof of system conformance to specifications.

  • Engage with stakeholders to align system specifications and drive the progressive acceptance of naval systems.

Essential skills and knowledge

You bring structure, clarity, and a passion for engineering precision. You're a strong communicator who thrives in complex, collaborative project environments. In addition, you have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or similar).

  • Experience in system design and engineering of high-tech, complex products.

  • Proficiency in Systems Engineering, Configuration Management, and Requirements Management.

  • Familiarity with VV&A processes and class-regulated or defense-related products.

  • Fluent English skills (spoken and written); Dutch or German is a plus.

  • A record of strong professional references.

What we offer

You'll join a high-impact team where your expertise directly contributes to national and international maritime security. You can expect:

  • A competitive gross monthly salary between €4500 and €6000 (based on experience) plus 8% holiday pay.

  • 26 vacation days

  • Additional benefits such as a bicycle plan and company fitness options.

  • Professional growth through training and development opportunities.
