Introduction

We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join an innovative team working on cutting-edge military systems. This role involves contributing to the full design process-from requirement analysis to prototyping and testing-ensuring solutions are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.

What are you going to do 

  • Analyze system requirements and translate them into technical specifications

  • Design components and systems, including interface drawings and simulations

  • Support prototype development, production, and testing phases

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and finalize designs

  • Document designs and support ILS with technical instructions

  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and contract specs

  • Stay up to date with new technologies and advise the engineering team

You'll work within a team of specialists using Siemens NX, contributing to a range of project types-from new builds to system upgrades-across diverse platforms.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Technical degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle/Aerospace Technology)

  • ~2+ years of experience in a similar role

  • Familiarity or interest in CAD systems

  • Fluent in Dutch and English (German is a plus)
