Introduction

Do you want your laboratory work to directly support the scientific substantiation of nutrition and health benefits? As a Research Analyst, you work hands-on in a life science laboratory on in vitro digestion and cell-based models that drive the development of ingredients and products.

What are you going to do

  • Plan, design, and execute experiments using in vitro digestion models and cell culture systems.
  • Generate high-quality data, interpret results, and document findings in clear reports.
  • Manage datasets and perform data analysis to support scientific conclusions.
  • Ensure smooth laboratory operations, including equipment, organization, and lab safety.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • A Bachelor's degree (HBO/HLO) in Life Sciences or a related field.
  • Practical experience in a laboratory setting; experience in cell biology and microbiology is preferred.
  • Experience with in vitro digestion, cell culturing (airway, gut, and immune cells), and biochemical or cell-based assays.
  • Experience with ELISA; experience with qPCR and/or dPCR is a plus.
  • Strong skills in data management and data analysis.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
