Introduction

Oversee the planning preparation and execution of all aspects of the Compression Platform Structural Fabrication requirements of the project from yard activities to load out ensuring all key objectives are achieved or exceeded.
Directly involved with the development of fabrication plans and execution of the plans overseeing Compression onshore fabrication scope responsibilities and duties safely, efficiently and effectively

What are you going to do

Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process.
Manages and ensures successful execution of CP Topsides structures fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and others, as appropriate).
To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the Structure fabrication, Mechanical Completion to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.
To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
8 years experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel. Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for technical education
Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions.
Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope

Location Assignment:

Qatar until 2025. The rest of the contract will be in Oman
