On behalf of our client, a global marine services provider, Brunel seeks an experienced Senior Surveyor for offshore survey projects. This FIFO 28/28 contract suits candidates skilled in positioning systems, survey leadership, and data integrity. Join international marine campaigns with a competitive day rate. What are you going to do 

The Offshore Survey Delivery Team supports global marine campaigns, ensuring safe and efficient data acquisition operations across multiple regions.

  • Accountable for accurate setup, calibration, and real-time oversight of survey and positioning systems
  • Leads offshore survey crews, setting clear priorities and ensuring high-quality data and reporting standards
  • Coordinates closely with onboard leadership and onshore teams to align on deliverables and resolve issues
  • Drives safe execution of offshore activities while promoting a strong safety and performance culture
  • Identifies and contributes to continuous improvement of offshore survey operations and team capability
  • Ensures compliance with company HSE, training, and technical competency frameworks

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven expertise in offshore survey operations, including installation, calibration, and management of positioning and survey systems
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior personnel and managing survey teams in challenging offshore environments
  • Solid knowledge of survey data acquisition, processing, quality control, and reporting standards
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in offshore operations
  • High adaptability and decision-making ability to deliver accurate survey results under tight schedules and changing conditions
  • Experience working within strict offshore HSE and operational procedures, including emergency response readiness
