What are you going to do

  • Develop and maintain master and phase schedules (PBS/IDS, Gantt, CPM); update baseline and forecasts.
  • Coordinate scope, resources and dependencies across engineering, procurement, fabrication, transport and offshore teams.
  • Produce progress reports, EVA/variance analysis and recovery plans; drive schedule risk mitigation.
  • Prepare/maintain schedule narratives, milestone trackers and look-ahead plans for weekly/monthly reviews.
  • Validate contractor/subcontractor schedules, change impacts and claim support; maintain configuration of schedule data.
  • Support planning tools/processes (Primavera P6/MS Project, SAP integration) and mentor junior planners.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • BEng/BSc in Engineering, Project Controls or related; 8+ years planning experience in offshore oil & gas (FP, topside, or FPSO projects).
  • Proven track record managing multi-discipline, multi-contractor schedules on large capital projects.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 (or MS Project) and MS Excel; earned value and risk analysis experience.
  • Strong stakeholder communication, critical-path analysis and resource-loading skills.
  • Preferred: APMP/ACE/PMI-SP or equivalent; valid offshore medical and sea-readiness certificates if role requires mobilization.
