Introduction

  • The Sr. Environment Engineer is responsible for implementing and overseeing environmental management activities of the Projects under the guidance of the HSE Manager.
  • The role ensures that all engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities comply with COMPANY's Environmental policies, applicable legal requirements, and Project-specific environmental standards.

What are you going to do

  • Responsibilities for ensuring compliance with COMPANY's Integrated Management Systems, covering Quality, Environment, Occupational Health & Safety, Responsible Care, and Energy Management.
  • Key duties include adhering to all relevant policies and procedures for both COMPANY and major projects, prioritizing HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) requirements, and maintaining awareness of specific project regulations and manuals.
  • Main activities involve monitoring environmental compliance by contractors, identifying and managing environmental risks (such as emissions and leaks), and conducting data analysis to ensure ongoing adherence to regulations.
  • The role includes oversight of contractors' HSE procedures, coordination of environmental campaigns and inspections, and ensuring timely closure of non-conformances.
  • Support functions include assisting project management with HSE performance, participating in audits and reviews, maintaining thorough environmental documentation, and preparing compliance reports.
  • The responsibilities also extend to involvement in engineering development to integrate environmental considerations, contributing to risk assessments and impact studies, and facilitating environmental permitting and consent processes.
  • Lessons learned and risk management must be documented and reported according to the Project Information Manual procedures.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Minimum 10 years' relevant work experience, with at least 3-5 years in in major projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree (12+4 years)
  • Professional Certification
