What are you going to do

The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective electrical engineering solutions for offshore oil & gas projects. The role includes design, engineering, vendor coordination, technical reviews, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and company procedures.

Essential skills and knowledge

Prepare and review electrical engineering deliverables, including single-line diagrams, load lists, equipment specifications, cable schedules, and layouts.
Perform electrical system studies such as load flow, short circuit, motor starting, and protection coordination.
Design LV/MV power distribution systems, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and hazardous area installations.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Support procurement, package engineering, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities.
Ensure engineering activities comply with IEC, IEEE, NEC, API, and project-specific standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, constructability reviews, and technical risk assessments.
Ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables within project schedule and budget.
