This contract position will be based in the EPCM consultant's engineering office in Vancouver, BC, with periodic travel to a remote project site in Arizona. In this role, you will support the Owner's Engineering Manager (EM) and project team in overseeing the EPCM consultant engaged in the development of a new multi-billion-dollar copper concentrator project. The position spans the Basic Engineering (BE) and Detailed Engineering (DE) phases and includes engineering support for field execution. Under the general direction of the Owner's Engineering Manager, you will provide technical expertise, coordination, and leadership to the primary EPCM consultant, as well as to other consultants and vendors, helping ensure alignment, quality, and progress across assigned project area(s). Responsibilities Reviews, investigates, and develops appropriate recommendations to EPCM team regarding engineering progress. Serves as an Area Lead on a wide range of small to medium engineering / construction, work packages within the main project scope.
