Introduction

This position offers autonomy and flexibility where you'll plan your own week, work closely with project and site teams, and play a key role in maintaining and improving safety performance across a range of civil projects.You'll be responsible for providing safety leadership and support across multiple active sites, ensuring compliance with company and client WHS requirements.

What are you going to do

  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and toolbox meetings
  • Coach and support supervisors and crews on safety standards and compliance
  • Review and assist with SWMS, incident investigations, and corrective actions
  • Ensure adherence to WHS legislation and company procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety systems and culture

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Previous experience in a safety role within civil construction or infrastructure
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance practices
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills
  • Ability to work independently across regional sites
  • Must be an Australian or NZ Citizen or have permanent residency
