Establish, implement, and maintain the project risk management framework, including policies, procedures, methodologies, and risk appetite thresholds.
Organize and facilitate risk review boards and governance meetings, ensuring effective risk oversight and decision-making.
Prepare and present regular risk reports to project sponsors and senior management, highlighting key risks, mitigation status, and overall project exposure.
Facilitate risk identification workshops and interviews across all project phases to identify potential threats and opportunities.
Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses (e.g. Monte Carlo simulations) to assess impacts on cost, schedule, scope, and quality.
Develop, document, and oversee the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Assign risk owners and track the execution and effectiveness of mitigation actions.
Monitor emerging risks, trigger conditions, and changes to the risk landscape, updating the project risk register accordingly.
Select, implement, and manage risk management tools and systems to support efficient risk tracking, analysis, and reporting.
Promote a proactive risk management culture and ensure risk management is fully integrated into project management and change control processes.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree or above; engineering qualifications or relevant professional certifications are preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in ocean or marine engineering management.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in international engineering or EPC project management.
Familiarity with Middle East marine engineering markets and project execution practices.
Strong analytical skills with experience in qualitative and quantitative risk assessment techniques.
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver results under pressure in multicultural project environments.
Willingness to travel to vendor facilities, fabrication yards, and construction sites as required.
