Introduction

On behalf of our client, Brunel is seeking experienced Process Operators with a strong background in foundry and molten metal operations to support a large-scale industrial processing project in Western Australia. This FIFO opportunity offers the chance to work within an innovative processing environment, utilising your operational expertise across plant operations, control room activities, and mobile equipment operation.

What are you going to do

As a Process Operator, you will play a key role in supporting safe and efficient plant operations within a foundry and molten metal processing environment.

  • Operate and monitor processing equipment in accordance with site procedures and safety requirements.
  • Support foundry and molten metal production activities.
  • Monitor plant performance from both field and control room environments.
  • Conduct routine operational inspections and equipment checks.
  • Operate and support mobile equipment as required.
  • Assist with material handling, lifting operations, and overhead crane support activities.
  • Report operational issues, hazards, and equipment defects.
  • Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to achieve production targets.

  • FIFO 2:1 roster
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Cristmas Creek - Western Australia project location

Essential skills and knowledge 

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Extensive experience in industrial processing operations.
  • Demonstrated experience within foundry and molten metal environments.
  • Previous control room operating experience.
  • Current Forklift Licence (LF).
  • Current Dogging High Risk Work Licence (DG).
  • Experience supporting overhead crane operations.
  • Experience operating telehandlers and/or front-end loaders.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively within remote site environments and FIFO rosters.
