Introduction
Brunel is seeking experienced Wireline (WL) & TCP Operators for adhoc FIFO opportunities across Australia, supporting well intervention, perforating and completion projects. Enjoy competitive rates, flexible assignments, and exposure to major oil & gas operations.
What are you going to do
- Participate in pre-job planning meetings, toolbox talks and hazard identification processes.
- Prepare, maintain and load TCP gun systems and associated perforating equipment.
- Support safe and efficient execution of Wireline and TCP perforating operations.
- Handle, transport and reconcile explosives in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with rig-up, rig-down and equipment maintenance activities.
- Monitor operational performance and provide support during well intervention and completion activities.
- Complete operational documentation, reports and maintenance records.
- Maintain compliance with all client, company and HSE requirements.
- Conduct post-job inspections and equipment servicing.
- Support Supervisors and Field Specialists throughout all operational activities.
Essential skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Wireline and/or TCP Perforating operations.
- Strong experience within oil & gas well completion and intervention environments.
- Knowledge of explosives handling procedures and dangerous goods requirements.
- Experience preparing and loading TCP gun systems.
- Understanding of perforating systems, firing heads and explosive initiation systems.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and procedural compliance.
- Ability to work effectively within remote field operations and FIFO environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and equipment maintenance skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid Driver's Licence.
- Ability to travel on adhoc FIFO assignments as required.
