Brunel are partnered with one of the largest miners in the world to deliver the best work opportunities for IT & Technical professionals within Australia. We are currently seeking OT Network Engineers to work on a contract basis across IT/OT Infrastructure and Systems Integration projects.

What are you going to do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design OT Network systems that meet project requirements and internal standards.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with governance processes.
  • Implementation: Lead the implementation of OT Network technologies in various projects, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of design specifications, testing protocols, and implementation procedures.
  • Compliance: Ensure all OT Network systems adhere to internal standards, governance processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting, addressing any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in network systems and operational technology and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems and processes.

The positions are Perth based working in the Perth CBD office. There is an element of WFH for all contractors, with time being split between the office and your home.

Essential skills and knowledge 

To be successful in this team, it is beneficial to have the following experience:

  • Expert knowledge of IT/OT Network systems and relevant protocols.
  • Proven track record of delivering OT Network projects, solutions and designs within the mining and resources industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective stakeholder management including ability to facilitate meetings.
  • CCNP or equivalent experience
