Introduction

A leading energy operator is seeking a highly organised and proactive Offshore Logistics Coordinator to support their operations on a jack-up rig in the Gippsland Basin. This offshore-based role is responsible for executing and optimising infield logistics support across production, decommissioning, and wells programs involving multiple platforms and vessels.

What are you going to do

Act as the key offshore focal point for all cargo and deck logistics.
Manage daily rig logistics using KABAL and prepare vessel manifests, deck plans, and load-out schedules.
Coordinate closely with shorebase, marine teams, and drilling personnel to align with the daily operations plan.
Ensure safe and compliant handling of Dangerous Goods, waste fluids, and chemicals in line with regulatory standards.
Monitor and report on all rental equipment movements, ensuring cost control and schedule efficiency.
Lead offshore deck management and logistics performance reporting, including any non-conformances or incidents.

Essential skills and knowledge

Extensive experience in offshore logistics coordination within the oil & gas industry.
Proficient in logistics platforms such as KABAL, and working knowledge of SAP MM.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
Offshore certification including valid medical and fitness to work.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced offshore environment with minimal supervision.
