Introduction

On behalf of our client - Woodside Energy, a Global Energy Company, Brunel is presently sourcing a Turnaround Materials Readiness Coordinator to support the Pluto and Karratha Gas plants assets. This position is a residential role open to local candidates of Karratha. This is a contract role for a 18 months duration, 9 day fortnight.

What are you going to do 

The Onshore Turnaround Execution Team develops and executes Tier 2 and 3 Turnaround campaigns for these onshore assets to ensure safe and reliable operations.

  • Responsible for team performance by setting clear expectations and task / activity prioritisation
  • Ensuring that the preparation and execution of team activities minimise operational risk on the facility
  • Communicating to key stakeholders through regular governance and travel to Perth
  • Continuous Improvement opportunities to be identified, assessed and implemented where approved
  • Responsible for self and team member compliance to LTO and Competency Training requirements
  • 7.00am - 4.00pm, core hours with flexiblity to do day and night shifts as required

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Demonstrated skilled proficiency in maintenance processes and the use of SAP CMMS for effective work execution
  • Solid understanding of the Material Supply Chain and related SAP transactional processes ensuring seamless coordination and inventory control
  • Strong technical knowledge of facility equipment, systems and processes with the ability to provide guidance and support to peers and stakeholders
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for all Technician and Coordinator-level material-related queries
  • Proven leadership in field operations, fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • High level of agility and adaptability with the ability to make timely, informed decisions in a dynamic operational environment
  • Previous experience in a Trade-based role supporting maintenance delivery, contributing to 'hands-on' operational insight (preferable)
