Introduction

Our client, an international leader in the oil and gas sector, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Senior Engineering Specialist in Instrumentation to support a major LNG project. This is a long-term contract position based in Milan, Italy, with potential future opportunities for rotational work in Mozambique. If you're ready to leverage your expertise in instrumentation at the forefront of LNG production, this role is your opportunity.

What are you going to do

Expertise in Instrumentation: Demonstrated proficiency in instrumentation equipment, systems integration, and methodologies.
Safety Standards: In-depth knowledge of international instrumentation safety systems standards, including ATEX / IECEx compliance.
Standards and Codes: Strong knowledge of international standards such as IEC, IEEE, ANSI, API, EN, NEMA MG1 & MG2, and ISO applicable to instrumentation and its environment.
Maintenance Systems: Good understanding of SAP-based maintenance systems like CMMS.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in computer applications and related methods to support operational excellence.
Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelor's degree or higher in Instrumentation, Electronic, or related Engineering disciplines.
At least 20 years of maintenance experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical industries, including a minimum of 10 years in LNG production plants.
Experience with controlling and maintaining specialized equipment including compressors, turbines, and natural gas processing systems.
