Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a Project Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee the complete logistics lifecycle for projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that all materials and equipment are transported safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable regulations. You will coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to plan, schedule, and execute all aspects of project logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate shipments for large-scale industrial projects
Manage logistics documentation: import/export, customs, licenses, permits
Execute logistics planning in ERP and transportation management systems (TMS)
Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and insurance agents
Monitor project timelines, logistics budget, and shipping milestones
Ensure compliance with global trade, dangerous goods (DGR), and safety regulations
Support risk analysis and provide solutions for logistics-related issues
Maintain accurate shipment records and prepare project logistics reports
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, sales, and legal teams
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination or project logistics
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Infor LN) and TMS platforms
Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs, Incoterms, and heavy transport
Advanced user of MS Excel and Office Suite; familiarity with Power BI is a plus
Strong stakeholder communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
