Introduction

Brunel was tasked to find a Logistics Adivisor to work under contract for a major Oil & Gas costumer in Spring, TX.

What are you going to do

Responsibilities : 
  • Coordinate and implement safe and efficient marine logistics to maximize commercial advantage worldwide.
  • Responsible to act as intermediary between various internal departments and external stakeholders to provide commercial expertise, influence trade decisions, and ensure the end-to-end process is effectively managed.
  • The role is fast paced, dynamic and challenging involving support to worldwide operations that continuously operate in multiple time zones.
Qualifications:
  • Understanding of bulk hydrocarbon marine logistics; Knowledge of vessel operations
  • Demonstrated experience in effective two-way communication with internal and external customers (oral, written, presentation, listening)
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have strong attention to detail and concern for accuracy
  • Strong drive and motivation; strong continuous improvement mindset
  • Solid proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Capability to learn systems/platforms to extract data for analysis
  • Able to work with diverse group of individuals; effectively manages external relationships
  • Promotes productive impact across organizations; seeks value-added improvements in the supply chain
  • Able to condense data and trends into succinct conclusions and recommendations, it written and verbal formats

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree or higher with a minimum of 5 years of Commercial Oil & Gas experience
  • Strong communications and organizational, and analytical skills
  • Responsive to changing priorities
  • Hydrocarbon experience
  • Chatting w/ traders/chatting w/ barge owners
  • Coordinate with barge owners
  • Day to day optimization
