Contract Details

  • 12-month renewable contract
  • First 6 months based in Milan
  • Thereafter Afungi, Mozambique on a 28x28 rotation

What are you going to do

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all Onshore Project Controls activities (cost, schedule, risk, change)
  • Manage and report on a ~$10bn budget and a multi‑year execution schedule
  • Oversee integrated planning and resolve schedule interface conflicts across contractors
  • Ensure accurate cost forecasting, contingency tracking, and executive-level reporting
  • Support senior project leadership and deputise when required
  • Drive strong HSE culture across a large, distributed project team

Essential skills and knowledge 

What You Bring

  • Degree in Engineering or Business (Bachelor's or Master's)
  • 10+ years' experience in major Oil & Gas / LNG project controls
  • Deep knowledge of cost engineering, planning, and schedule management
  • Experience in large JV environments with lender, partner, and government interfaces
  • Confident communicator who thrives under pressure and complexity
