Construction Superintendent (Mechanical Completion & Pre-Commissioning)
Provides multi-disc. Mechanical Completion expertise, to lead safe execution of Mechanical completion activities in accordance with project deliverables and execution schedule.Demonstrate leadership in planning and execution driving contractor to deliver as per project milestones.Maintains close liaison with members of Engineering, quality, construction, commissioning Teams and accountable for ensuring execution of work is technically aligned in compliance with project objectives, specification and industry best practices.Guides Contractor's Mechanical Completion activities and validating contractors, including vendors, subcontractor resources, personnel qualifications, usage of appropriate tools; adherence to project objectives, requirements, specifications, and verification processes.Ensure CTR/SCTR adhere to Project SHES procedures.Reviews and monitors project Design, including Engineering / Site Queries, Field Design Changes, Deviation Requests, Non-Conformance Reports and Contractor design change or deviations from company directives ensuring compliance with management of change procedures.Assesses and validates Contractor’s procedures for SIMOPS, Work under Permit, Partial Handover requirements and performs progress measurement / reporting to drive assigned Mechanical Completion activities. Leads punch close out activities and handovers.Manages the Mechanical Completion/ Pre-commissioning deliverables updates/redlines and support field engineering where needed in support of MC & pre-comm activities.Responsible for following up and assuring schedule and related milestones are achieved, provides data (rundown curves, charts, graphs), identifies material & skills gaps, develops recovery plans to address any schedule delays if any.Accountable for knowledge of and sharing previous lessons learned, capturing, and communicating current lessons learned to support review teams and future projects.Develops and issues daily and weekly reports on progress, performance, initiatives, issues, and challenges to the Yard Manager.Reviews the Skyline & System hand over priority, sequence and schedule. Provides input to and reviews the development of contractor’s detailed plans to complete the work.Reviewing the scope of construction and identifying any possible anomalies during construction.
