What are you going to do
Brunel is recruiting HSE Trainers to work in Midland, TX for initially 1 year contract.
The HSE Trainer is responsible for delivering and maintaining health, safety, and environmental training programs to ensure compliance with industry regulations and promote a culture of safety within oil and gas operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver HSE training programs tailored to operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Maintain training records and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Provide expert guidance on HSE best practices and regulatory updates.
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred. (Will also consider those with great experience that might not have a college degree)
- Relevant certifications such as CSP, OHST, NEBOSH, or equivalent.
- Experience in a safety-related role within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, and program development skills.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE laws, codes, and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in HSE with a strong preference for those with oil & gas experience. Experience in conducting field-based HSE training is highly preferred, as the role involves traveling to various locations to deliver and maintain HSE training. Occupational health experience is a nice-to-have. The candidate must be local to Midland, TX, or willing to relocate. This is an urgent need, and the candidate must be available to start no later than September 15th. It's a 1-year contract with a high potential to extend or convert to permanent.
