What are you going to do

  • Support execution of the project's Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) Program.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of Safety and Health Management Plans, procedures, and training.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, and other teams to ensure integration of safety requirements.

  • Interpret safety regulations and contribute to risk assessments and plan development.

  • Research and prepare documentation on safety regulations and compliance.

  • Support safety audits, incident investigations, and emergency response.

  • Conduct ESH inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders, subcontractors, and project teams.

  • Participate in key safety meetings and performance reviews.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Health, Engineering, or related field with 5-8 years of relevant experience,

    • 9-12 years of relevant safety-related work experience.

  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Specialized knowledge in safety disciplines (e.g., PPE, lockout/tagout, fall protection, excavation, etc.).

    • Familiarity with safety management systems and risk methodologies.

    • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and permitting processes.

    • Insight into engineering, construction, and subcontractor workflows.

    • Strong communication and computer skills.

  • Additional Requirements:

    • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is required.

    • Degree in safety, industrial/public health, or mechanical/process engineering preferred.
