Introduction

This role suits someone with team leadership experience or looking to grow in the poultry industry. The Hatchery Supervisor oversees production, quality assurance, and WHS to ensure efficient daily operations. Working with the Hatchery Manager, the Supervisor ensures tasks are completed using available resources while meeting production and customer needs.

What are you going to do 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform monitoring and recording of the hatchery process
  • Monitor consumable stock levels and advise manager when low
  • Identify maintenance requirements
  • Prepare vaccine for processes
  • Supervise cold room tasks
  • Supervise chicken take off and counting

Essential skills and knowledge 

About Yourself:

  • Experience in hatchery supervision (desirable)
  • Experience with poultry (mandatory)
  • Mechanically minded
  • Experience in supervising staff
  • Full working rights in Australia
