Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Accountant or Finance Manager who is ready to step into a broader leadership role, with a clear pathway to Chief Financial Officer.

What are you going to do

Oversee day-to-day financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Support strategic planning and provide commercial insights to drive business performance
Maintain compliance with tax and regulatory obligations
Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk
Improve internal processes, systems, and reporting tools (ERP experience valued)
Collaborate with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and advisors
Work directly with directors and key decision-makers
Contribute to long-term financial strategy and organisational growth

Essential skills and knowledge

10+ years of experience as a Senior Accountant, Finance Manager, or similar role
Background in construction, property, or project-based industries is highly desirable
Strong understanding of financial systems, controls, and reporting
Ability to work autonomously and contribute at both strategic and operational levels
Commercially astute with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
