What are you going to do

  • Support field operations including planting, spraying, and harvesting for parent seed and commercial crops.

  • Assist with detasseling and corn harvest activities.

  • Conduct regular field checks to assess priorities.

  • Maintain, clean, and transport field machinery and equipment.

  • Comply with Heavy Vehicle National Law during equipment transport.

  • Keep workshop clean and maintain tools and inventory.

  • Follow and promote Quality Management System (QMS) standards.

  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by following safety procedures.

  • Take responsibility for personal and team safety.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • HC licence (preferred)

  • ChemCert accreditation

  • Seed production field experience

  • Skilled in operating farm machinery

  • Forklift licence

  • Mechanically minded

  • Basic computer skills
