Introduction

On behalf of our client, a High-Profile Top Tier Company with the Resources sector, Brunel is presently sourcing an Engineering Workflow Coordinator. Reporting to the Manager Engineering you will be responsible for the efficient and systematic coordination of engineering documentation flow, resource tracking and time management across various phases of studies and projects. This will be 12 mth contract located in the Perth CBD.

What are you going to do

  • Maintain and manage the Engineering Control Sheet (ECS) as the central source for deliverables, progress tracking, and status updates
  • Coordinate with Engineering Leads and Discipline Engineers to ensure accurate scheduling and reporting of engineering activities
  • Track engineering deliverables against project schedules and flag potential workflow delays or bottlenecks
  • Monitor engineering resource allocation and assist with forecasting resource requirements
  • Maintain resourcing plans including contractor allocations and upcoming project needs
  • Oversee weekly timesheet submissions and approvals, ensuring alignment with project codes and work packages
  • Prepare reports on resource utilisation, labour hours and project progress
  • Coordinate engineering meetings, manage action tracking and maintain documentation and records

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering OR a related discipline
  • Previous experience in Mining, Resources OR Heavy industry
  • Experience across concept, prefeasibility, feasibility, FEED, and detailed design project phases
  • Strong data and reporting capability, with advanced skills in MS Excel, Power BI and database systems
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary Engineering and Project Teams
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
