Brunel is proud to be representing a tier one mining organisation as they deliver a major new construction project in the South West WA region. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected business on a large-scale mining plant build.

What are you going to do 

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to oversee the delivery of complex E&I works on site. You will be responsible for ensuring all activities are executed to the highest safety and quality standards, in accordance with best practice, relevant codes, and industry standards.

Your role will involve:

  • Supervising day-to-day E&I works, including LV and HV substation installations, transformer (TX) installations, NPI, fuel facilities, crusher electrical upgrades and relocations.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with electrical and instrumentation scopes.
  • Ensuring compliance with project specifications, legislation, and company procedures.
  • Leading and coordinating contractors to achieve project milestones.
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring work is carried out to strict HSE requirements.

Essential skills and knowledge 

This multi-year project will see the construction of a state-of-the-art mining plant in the South West WA region. The E&I scope runs from October 2025 through to mid-2027, with strong potential for further works.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience supervising large-scale E&I scopes in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical and instrumentation standards, codes of practice, and industry best practice.
  • Strong understanding of risk identification and mitigation in high-voltage environments.
  • Exceptional leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Current WA Electrical Licence (desirable) and relevant safety qualifications.
  • Ability to commute daily to site - no accommodation provided.
  • You must have current right to work in Austrlaia to be considered for this role
