Our client is seeking a talented Deep Water Installation Engineer (Flexible and Reel Lay) to play a critical role in the development of a state-of-the-art LNG project. Based in Milanthis 12-month renewable contract offers a prime chance to showcase your skills on an international stage. What are you going to do

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe, on time and within budget delivery of the flexible and reel-lay related elements of the EPCI scope of work whilst ensuring a high level of quality consistent with a project design life of 30 years.
  • Monitor and manage all facets of work within the flexible and reel-lay scope of work to ensure that schedule, technical, quality and HSES requirements are, as a minimum, met or improved upon.
  • Oversee a readiness process to ensure progressive documented preparation is made by both Contractor and Company teams towards the start of site activities.
  • Inform the Deep-Water Lead of issues which present a significant threat to the Project and in addition offer mitigating measures / work plans.
  • Provide reporting function towards Deep Water Lead for the flexible and reel-lay installation activities.
  • Define, monitor and manage work tasks with external consultants and contractors as required.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven success in large-scale EPCI contracts, particularly involving deep-water flexible pipes, reeling pipelines, and structure installations.
  • Deep knowledge of offshore installation processes, including readiness procedures, constructability, and risk management.
  • Skilled at assessing and challenging the robustness of contractors' execution plans, schedules, and installation spreads.
  • Proficiency in managing interfaces between vessels and offshore construction activities while minimizing co-activity impacts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multi-cultural environments, drive pragmatic problem-solving, and maintain strong working relationships with contractors.
  • Excellent English communication skills to support reporting and interface coordination
