Introduction

Brunel is partnering with a well-regarded Tier 2 commercial builder to appoint a Contracts Administrator based at their head office on Brisbane's inner south side. This is a long-term opportunity supporting project delivery teams across a range of education and food production builds.

What are you going to do

This is a key commercial role supporting the full lifecycle of multiple projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, Estimators and Site Managers to manage procurement, track financial performance and maintain contract compliance across both new builds and major refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage subcontractor and supplier procurement
Maintain and monitor project budgets, variations and forecasting
Ensure contract documentation and processes meet compliance requirements
Support claims preparation and monthly reporting
Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure accurate commercial tracking

Essential skills and knowledge

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator in commercial construction
Strong understanding of head contract and subcontract administration
Ability to manage multiple projects across sectors and maintain consistent documentation
Exposure to food-grade or education environments is beneficial
Familiarity with systems such as Jobpac or Cheops is preferred
